In honour of the Day for Dead Pets, lets talk paintings and print reproductions 😶‍🌫️ Day One of Practicing Oracy and My Practice 🤞🩵 If you like historically inspired art, you should stick around 😗 Launching a new series of prints on my website 01/11/2026 at 7pm. 🦇 Star Worshippers Thinking and dreaming and longing for trinket sculptures. My Maize Girl 3 of Wands To Your Right, Something a bit different...I've been thinking about leaves as a canvas since visiting Ana Mendieta's show at the Tate, where she drew (and etched?) onto leaves. I made it my own in opting for Oil Pastel than a what she used, and a different kind of leaf. The leaves are from my 2+ year old avocado plant, which fell off after the heat of the summer. I'm feel tender and grateful and hopefully all at once. Runes Over Beers, unexpected calligraphy (study) A wip...starting to incorporate text/words into my paintings. I think I will work a bit more into this to make it look more integrated into the grass, but we'll see! I've been thinking a lot about Chthonic and what it means to be with the Earth. It feels like we can try as hard as we can until we return to the Earth.. Honoured to be longlisted and going through to the next round of The Artist Prize @zealous_co 🙌🧿🤞 Two pieces of work in @beneculture last night for @decoded_roots x @ourturn.brum 🌟🙌 There are a few new faces following me so, I thought its time for a refresh! Its September 1st! How did that happen? 🤔 Go see common ground! just painted it in 3 hours 😮‍💨 After an exhibition hiatus, I'm happy to announce I will be exhibiting again! is it tuff? 🐦 big things comin ig 😳 Spent the past few days in London so as a Mendieta fangirl, obviously I arrived here. Plus it's £5 with the Tate Collective if you're 25 and under?! I have been beyond ecstatic since learning this major retrospective was going to happen like a year ago.
